Fall Hiking

The weather has definitely cooled and the morning and evenings are downright cold but the late mornings are still perfect for a hike. I have taken a few moderate hikes this week and really enjoyed myself. The leg is doing great but the body is feeling a bit sluggish! This weekend I had breakfast with my girlfriends Linda and Bobbie and afterwards we hiked up Adobe Jack Trail. It had been a while since we had been together and so we talked up a storm, laughed our heads off while covering every subject under the sun and caught up on our lives and plans for the holidays. It was a great morning.

Also hike related, Bobbie and Carl Cooke (no relation) organized two meeting to establish the American Pilgrims group in Northern Arizona. Both meetings had good attendance and it looks like a genuine group will be forming to hike, socialize, inform and inspire future pilgrims. We are very excited as it will be the third group in the state of Arizona and we look forward to our next meeting in December. Check Bobbie’s blogsite above for additional details. In the meantime I will be dressing warmer and enjoying the beautiful fall hiking weather in Sedona! Woe is me…Image
