Trees in Oak Creek Canyon

Hiking up the canyon today near my friend Robin’s home. Joined up with Robin, Kathy and Lynn for a lovely walk through the trees. The trees here are especially beautiful and did I mention I have a thing for trees. You’ll find lots of Oak, Juniper and Mesquite trees in Sedona along with Cottonwood and Sycamore, the latter being my favorite because of their textured bark and they grow so large and majestic! See for yourself:

Another great place to hike. You are lucky to have so many choices close to home.
