“Our deepest fear is not that we are…

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. You’re playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

– Marianne Williamson, is a best-selling author, lecturer and founder of The Peace Alliance

This is one of my all time favorite quotes! I wanted to share it just in case there is anyone out there who is not familiar with it. For those that are it is worth reading over and over again.

Today was a solitary hike day. I went out very early

to Bell Rock and walked around it for about 4.5 miles, it was a beautiful morning. Feeling so blessed to have the time and ability to get out into nature. I feel it’s balancing effects on me more and more.

  1. Juana Montanez says:

Our deepest fear is not that we are alone in our venture through life, but that we falter in not trusting our Lord to hold us in the palm of his hand, and lead us as a divine father holding our hand through all our life

  2. Susie Flores says:

    That’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
